Nina Panagopoulou Bio
Nina Panagopoulou is an MA Professional Artist graduate from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA/Kiad) in Kent and BA Honours Graduate in Fine Art studies from the University of Ioannina in Greece.

Nina was born in Athens/Greece in 1984. She took the first lessons of life drawing in the art studio of Michalis Veloudios in Marousi. She also studied life model, figurative painting in Athens in the Art Studio of Timos Batinakis.

 She has a Masters in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts/ UCA Canterbury,UK and a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art from the University of Ioannina/Greece. She lived in Ireland for 3,5 years, where she produced most of her landscape work in painting. Her painting was influenced majorly by the dynamic colours, scenery of Ireland. Ireland has contributed majorly in her artistic development in colour.  Nina also studied music for 12 years, classical piano and singing in choirs from the age of 7 and attended the Musical High School in Pallini.

During her MA in UK, Research and Practice, her research was based in the combination of image-video, painting and sound. She has exhibited with painting and video art in the United Kingdom(group exhibitions in London, Faversham, Canterbury), Northern Ireland with her first Solo Exhibition in Belfast/Crescent Arts Centre/Dickon Hall Gallery,in Greece with group exhibitions in Athens.

 She has also completed workshops in pottery in the Ceramic Centre of Amarousion in Athens with tutor Nikos Bamiatzoglou. The recent years her painting is focused on exploring the human figure. Nina is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece in the category of Painting.
